A small studio with a big toolbox
ME Toolkit is a developer-led studio in Berlin. We build WordPress plugins for the jobs real sites keep running into, and lately, apps for the phone in your pocket.
Why we started
We build and look after WordPress sites for restaurants, shops, agencies and public-facing businesses. Again and again we needed the same things: an accessibility toolbar that does not slow the page down, and a store locator without a monthly map bill.
So we wrote them, kept them light, and kept using them. ME Toolkit is where those tools now live, for anyone to use.
What we make
- ME Accessibility: Accessibility toolbar, WCAG scanner and statement generator.
- LocatorPress: Store locator on OpenStreetMap. No Google API key needed.
- Grid Bloom: Block Puzzle: A calm block puzzle where cleared lines make seeds bloom.
How we work
- Self-hosted first. Our plugins run inside your WordPress, with your data in your database.
- Light on the page. Small scripts, no unnecessary libraries, nothing loaded where it is not used.
- EU rules in mind. Accessibility (EAA, BITV 2.0) and privacy (GDPR) are part of the brief from day one.
- Plain support. Email goes to the people who wrote the code.
Free, for now
Everything we make is free during early release, and the plugin code is open on GitHub. Paid plans may come later; when they do, we will say so on the pricing page first.
